Privacy policy

This policy explains what data GrowthNearby ("we") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. GrowthNearby is operated by Hamza Nasir, [Business postal address], Pakistan. Contact: hello@growthnearby.com.

Who this applies to

Business owners who use GrowthNearby ("you"), visitors to growthnearby.com, and the customers of our users whose details our users add to their customer list.

Data we collect

• Account details: your name, business name, email address, phone number, trade and city.
• Data you add: your customer list (customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, job details, service dates and notes), photos you upload, and settings.
• Data from connected accounts: if you connect your Google Business Profile, Facebook Page or Instagram business account, we access the data needed to provide the service, such as your business profile details, reviews, posts and performance metrics (for example profile views and calls).
• Payment details: payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We do not receive or store your card details; we receive order and subscription information.
• Usage and device data: pages visited, actions in the app, browser type and approximate location from your IP address, used to keep the service secure and working.

How we use data

• To provide the service: write and schedule posts, prepare review requests and reply drafts, send reminders, and show your results.
• To process payments, refunds and support requests.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.
• To send you service emails, such as weekly post emails and monthly reports. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data or your customers' data to train AI models, and we do not use it for advertising.

Google user data

When you connect a Google account, GrowthNearby uses Google Business Profile data only to provide the features you use: publishing posts you approve, showing and drafting replies to reviews, and showing your profile performance. We publish replies automatically only if you turn that on, and you can turn it off at any time.

GrowthNearby's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We keep data received from Google Business Profile APIs for no more than 30 days, except where you ask us to keep content you created (such as your own posts).

Some features use Google Maps Platform data (such as place details for the Review Health Check). We store only place IDs from that data and show Google attribution where required.

Facebook and Instagram data

When you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram business account, we use the permissions you grant only to publish posts you approve and to show post performance. You can remove our access at any time in your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy > Settings > Business integrations).

AI processing

We use AI services to write posts, reply drafts and summaries, and to create or enhance images. Data needed for each task (such as your business name, trade, city, a review's text or a photo you upload) is sent to our AI providers, including Anthropic, under terms that do not allow them to train on it. You review AI-written content before it is published unless you turn on automatic publishing.

Your customers' data

For customer-list data, you decide what is collected and why, and we process it on your behalf to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to contact your customers, including any consent required for texts and emails. We use this data only to provide the service to you.

Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run GrowthNearby, under contracts that limit their use of it: hosting (Hetzner Online), payments (Lemon Squeezy), AI providers (such as Anthropic and our image-generation provider), and email delivery. We may also disclose data if required by law.

How long we keep data

• Google Business Profile API data: no more than 30 days.
• Your account and customer list: while your account is open. After you delete your account, we delete this data within 30 days, and from backups within a further 30 days.
• Order and invoice records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you promptly if a breach affects it.

Your choices and rights

You can export or delete your data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example California, the UK or the EU), you may also have rights to access, correct, delete or limit the use of your data. To use them, email hello@growthnearby.com. Children

GrowthNearby is a business service and is not intended for anyone under 18.
